Inchy by inch - keys

I decided to bully my 20 year old daughter into crafting. Faye being Faye chose to dive in at the deep end and created this wonderful inchy. The challenge was to incorporate a key into the inchy, she based it upon her favourite tv programme from her childhood. Can you guess what it was?
Considering it was her first ever attempt, to have the tiny door actually openning, was a marvellous feat. She recommends that you enlarge the images to view all the detail.

Daring Card Makers - 'Got Your Number' Midweek Challenge

You know sometimes you feel like leaving your comfort zone, well thats what I've done! I bought these Fairies from Samcards purely because I love the colours and image (not usually a fairy person). I love decoupage and in some areas there are 5 layers, tried to take a side view piccie, sort of shows!! Came across the DCM Challenge blog and their midweek challenge is to make a card with a number on it. Who would appreciate a cheeky fairy in a glass I thought!! Probably most men! so I went for a 50yr old!!!

They might still find their way on yet!!! Thanks for stopping by xx

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 17, The Great Outdoors

This is my first Cute Card Thursday challenge card. The theme is The Great Outdoors. I've been waiting to use my new Hedgie stamp for something so I thought why not! Never coloured before! I'm affraid i'ts abit messy and the sea looks a bit violent but hey we all have to start somewhere! Did the sails with twinkling H2Os, doesn't really show.It looks a bit plain but i'm not one for fuss(never get it right!!). Brads are a favourite, a friend made me a brad possitioning grid/tool which makes it so easy to line them up properly.

It's my Mum and Dad-inlaws Wedding Anniversary tomorrow and fancied doing something abit different. Had a look through my Sam stuff and found these. How snuggly are they? Added some copper and black stickles( because thats the law!!), a bit of ribbon and a couple of flowers inside. Thats the wonder of Samcards!!
